This includes the time spent in the customers home, creating floor plans, researching specifications or products for the space, shopping time and more. The time hours needed will depend on the type of project and the amount of work that is needed. The hours will be recorded and detailed on an invoice by the designer for the client to see the break down of the time used.
Flat Fee; a flat fee may be used in place of hourly if the project is based by room or if the project is smaller scale, the client needs paint selections, client would like a consultation without plans or selections made. Designer will determine if this will be better for your project or if it will be split between hourly and flat fee.
Cost Plus; This payment option is used if the client is needing the designer to use resources from vendors for product, shopping or paint. The client will receive a discount on goods but pay designer a percent for time and expenses in which the client will benefit.
